About Hikmah

Hikmah — The Modern Madrasa of Ghana — is not a conventional teaching institution. It is an educational initiative committed to developing thoughtful, disciplined, and grounded human beings through a balanced integration of faith, culture, knowledge, and character.

We are therefore careful about who teaches at Hikmah.

Teaching at Hikmah is not limited to delivering content. It involves:

  • Guiding young minds with patience and clarity
  • Encouraging inquiry and thoughtful discussion
  • Modelling discipline, humility, and respect
  • Engaging with students in a way that builds confidence, not fear

Who Should Apply

We welcome applications from individuals who:

  • Value education as a process of shaping human beings, not just delivering information
  • Are comfortable with discussion, questions, and intellectual engagement
  • Are balanced in their understanding of faith, culture, and modern life
  • Can work with students across different backgrounds and levels of exposure
  • Are willing to align with the Hikmah Teaching Charter and philosophy

We are not looking only for subject experts.

We are looking for educators, mentors, and role models.
