Joining the
Hikmah Journey

Hikmah is a weekend educational program designed for students who attend mainstream schools but would benefit from structured education in faith, culture, character, language, and leadership. Our programs are designed to complement, not replace, the academic education students receive during the week.

Admission is Open to Students Who Share Our Values

Admission to Hikmah is open to students and families who share our belief that education should develop not only academic ability, but also character, discipline, identity, and wisdom.

Hikmah is not designed as a remedial program or a tutoring center. It is a character, culture, and leadership development program, and students are expected to participate actively in discussions, projects, and activities.

  • Currently enrolled in mainstream schools (private, international, public, or faith-based)
  • Willing to attend weekend sessions regularly
  • Respectful, curious, and willing to participate in discussions and activities
  • From families who value education, discipline, and character development
  • Open to learning about faith, culture, ethics, and leadership in a balanced environment

Weekend Structure

A Typical Hikmah Session

Hikmah operates as a weekend school, typically meeting once per week. A typical Hikmah weekend session may include:

  • Arabic language and reading
  • Faith and ethics discussions
  • Culture and history sessions
  • Leadership and life skills workshops
  • Debate and discussion sessions
  • Group projects and presentations
  • Story sessions (for younger students)

Sessions are designed to be interactive, discussion-based, and engaging — not lecture-heavy. Detailed schedules and session times will be shared with parents at the beginning of each term.

Program Information

Duration, Fees & Registration

01

Program Duration

Each Hikmah program track is structured as a 6-month certification program, after which students:

  • Receive a Hikmah Certificate
  • Present a project, presentation, or portfolio
  • Progress to the next level (where applicable)

Students are encouraged to continue through multiple levels so that Hikmah becomes a multi-year character and leadership journey, not a short course.

02

Fees

Hikmah aims to keep fees reasonable and accessible while maintaining high-quality teaching and program delivery. Fees may be:

  • Paid separately per term
  • Added to existing school fees where Hikmah operates in partnership with a school

Detailed fee information will be shared with parents during registration. We also hope, over time, to establish scholarship programs for deserving students through donor and foundation partnerships.

A Note to Parents

Hikmah is Designed to
Make Children Wiser

Hikmah is not designed to make children busier. It is designed to make children wiser.

We do not promise that Hikmah students will become perfect. We hope they will become thoughtful, disciplined, respectful, and confident young people who understand who they are and what they stand for.

Education is a long journey, and Hikmah hopes to walk a small but meaningful part of that journey with your family.

"Admission to Hikmah is not only enrollment in a program. It is joining a community that believes education should shape not only careers, but character and civilization."
